Abstract
The school of Miletus signed the beginning of philosophy with a research about the “true” Sky, that is a Sky without those imperfections and irregularities, that appears at the sight of man. The “true” Sky is the place of Gods: it is perfect and regular; it is a place where also the human soul can find its salvation. Shortly, astronomy, geometry, cosmology are the way towards theology: the duty of philosophy is to separate, in the Sky, the place where Gods live from the rest of the Sky.
