On Language and Aufforderung in Fichte. A few historiographical notes

Abstract

The present study comprises a comprehensive review of the work undertaken by Fichte on the subject of language, primarily by considering the writings which are explicitly dedicated to this theoretical system, although also by analysing his other works stemming from the multiform constellation that is his “doctrine of science” (Wissenschaftslehre).
